Darlene Velez Keeley

Darlene Velez Keeley died on April 27, 2024, at Garnet Health Medical Center, surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was 54 years of age. Darlene was the daughter of Ismael and Carmen Velez.

She leaves behind her loving husband, John Keeley, and two daughters, Vanessa and Alexis Keeley.

 She also leaves behind her father and her siblings: Nancy, Mabel, Henry and his wife Sue, and Steve Velez and his wife Madeline, and nieces and nephews: James, Henry, Alyssa, Danielle, Ryan, Jason, Chris, Anastasia, and Steve. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Lorraine Keeley, and her siblings-in-law, Debbie, Catherine, Maureen, and her husband Louis.

Darlene was pre-deceased by her Mother, Carmen Velez, who cherished her.

Darlene was loved by everyone around her and touched the hearts of those she encountered. She will be greatly missed but will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A wake will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 3, 2024, at noon at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, New York 10950.

Cremation care will be provided by Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Chester, NY.

Darlene's care has been entrusted to the Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center staff.
