Darlene Ann Wenz a clerical worker at the Department of Social Services in Newburgh, New York for the past 10 years and former Group Salesperson for United Airlines for 18 years and a 35 year resident of the area died April 19, 2013 at her residence. She was 63 years of age. The daughter of Adella Rivenburg she was born in Cardondale, PA. Darlene was a member of St. Anastasia R.C. Church in Harriman and the Mornoe Woodbury PTA. Darlene was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She was constantly thinking of others and will be remembered for the endless generosity, kidness and love that she showed to all who knew and loved her in return. Darlene is survived by her husband Dr. Lawrence Wenz at home and their children Jennifer Wenz of Monroe, NY and Andrea Wenz of Boston, MA. She was predeceased by her brother John Tellep of Clifford, PA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM and Thursday, Arpil 25, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia R.C Parish Church, 21 North Main Street, Harriman, New York 10926 with the Rev. Michael Keane officating. Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, New York. Funeral and Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F. Flynn, Director of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.,139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950.
