Daniel Francis Mulvey Chester, NY. Daniel F. Mulvey (Danny) of Chester, New York was a lifelong resident of the area, died on October 2, 2017, under the loving care of his parents and sister. Danny was 20 years of age. The son of Daniel and Maureen Kehoe-Mulvey, he was born on November 20, 1996, in Warwick, New York. Daniel had such a great love and admiration for his country and our military. It started when he was four years old and was recovering from his bone marrow transplant on September 11, 2001. Daniel knew he could not physically serve his country, but his patriotism and love for his country would never waiver. On September 2, 2017, Brigadier General John Hussey, made Daniel's dream a reality, when he swore Daniel in as the United States Honorary Soldier. This was his greatest accomplishment and proudest moment of his life. At a very young age, Daniel was chosen to be a soldier of God. Like a true soldier, he accepted God's command to carry out his word. He performed this challenge as a devout messenger, with such courage, dignity and pride. Daniel impacted so many lives because he carried himself so humbly and saintly. Although he suffered dearly throughout his life, he never once complained. In fact, he was more concerned with the well-being of others. Daniel was truly blessed by God's grace through the Holy Spirit. His deep faith in God, and his trust in Jesus, made him a hero and inspiration to all those who had the privilege to know and love him. Danny proudly served as a St. Columba Altar Server. He was an Honorary Member of the Walton Engine and Hose Company, of the Chester Fire Department. He belonged to the Chester Academy's Key Club, assisted with the Chester Academy sports program, including the basketball team and girls' soccer team. He was an extremely proud member of the Chester Football team. Danny is survived by his parents Dan and Maureen, along with his sister and best friend, Alicia, of Chester, New York. He is further survived by his loving and adoring Grandparents, Frank Kehoe and Theresa Mulvey. Danny was pre-deceased By His Grandparents, Arthur Mulvey and Eileen Kehoe, and his Uncle, Frankie Kehoe.
