Charlene Gooden

Charlene Adelia Gooden, of Goshen NY, passed away on September 5, 2020. She was 73 years of age. Charlene, a registered nurse for forty-five years, was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY, raised in Hillburn and Queens, NY, and moved to Goshen four years ago after leaving a 22 year nursing legacy in Stone Mountain, GA. Charlene was strong, loving and a hero in her own right. Her family would like to thank you all for being a part of her legacy. Charlene is predeceased by her father Charles Gooden, mother Muriel Bernice Agnes, son Pietre L.J. Gooden-Walker, sisters Sally Agnes, Nikki (Agnes) Seward, and Meredith Lynn Agnes, niece Nikki Warren, and nephew David Seward. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas M. Gooden of New York and Christopher J. Gooden of Texas, daughter Felicia S.C. Gooden of New York, three grandchildren Jamaar and Imani Gooden and Nia'Siah Brackin, nieces Michele Gilliard, Meredith (Agnes) Nixon, Johnna Downing, and great nieces and nephews including Richele, Louis (Bear), Brian, Darrell, Curtis, LaTasha, Shaun (Lauren), Dominic, Harold, Percy, Donte, Joseph, Candice, Quianna, Angelica, and Eboni, as well as a host of great-great nieces and nephews.
