Carole L. DeWeever Hassler (01/23/1940-02/05/2018) Washingtonville, NY Carole L. DeWeever Hassler of Washingtonville, NY a retired employee of Star Expansion in Moutainville, NY a lifelong resident Washingtonville, NY, died February 5, 2018, at Orange Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 79 years of age. The daughter of the late George and Hattie Keller, she was born on January 23, 1940, in Manhattan, NY. Carole was a lifelong member of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Washingtonville, NY. She was loved and adored by many friends and family members and will be greatly missed for each one. Survivors include her sisters Joan Easterly Harpers of Ferry, West Virginia, and Mae DeWeaver Duurloo of Shreveport, LA. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, at St. Mary's R.C. Church located at 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville, NY 10992 at 1:30 PM with interment following at St. Mary's Parish Cemetery located at 2 Fr. Tierney Circle, Washingtonville, NY 10992.
