Beverly Ann Doty of Chester, New York (former longtime resident of Monroe, NY) passed away at her residence on December 15, 2020. She was 79 years old. The daughter of the late Edward and Dorothea Humenanski, she was born on June 21, 1941 in Wilkes Barre, PA. Beverly worked for The Highland Telephone Company in Monroe, NY as an operator between the years of 1970 and 1973. She then began a 24 year career working as an executive secretary for Orange County Planning Department, Orange County Mental Health and Orange County Correctional Mental Health. Following her 24 years with Orange County, Beverly went on to work as an office clerk for St. Anastasia R.C. Church as well as being an event helper for The Lycian Center in Chester, NY. Beverly had a passion for singing and shared her voice while singing at the Boodles Opera House located in Chester, NY, she also shared her talent singing at church, weddings, funerals and other special events. Beverly was a devoted member of The First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, NY. She was very active in the Monroe Volunteer Ambulance and was awarded a Life Membership for her service to the community. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Marian D. Doty of Chester, NY, Louise Doty-Conklin of Chester, NY, and her son in law, Wayne Conklin of Chester, NY. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Kristen M. Thompson of Chester, NY, her brother, Edward Humenanski of Warwick, NY, and many nieces and nephews including but not limited to, Jessica Humenanski Von Dyk of Wallkill, NY, and Jason Humenanski of PA. Lastly, she was the great niece of Erma Pedat, of Nevada and a cousin of Cheryl Jones-Foster, of Nevada. Her family will be holding a public visitation on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 during the hours of 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950 with Rev. Hoeldke of First Presbyterian Church of Monroe officiating a service at the funeral home at 6:30 PM. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
