Benjamin H. Diamond

Benjamin Diamond of Chester, New York a former resident of New York, New York died peacefully at home on September 16, 2012, He was 87 years of age. Benjamin was a civil engineer for Diesel Construction Company in New York City. The son of the late Abraham and Anna Diamond. He was born on March 9, 1925 on the Lower East side of Manhattan, New York. He is the youngest and last living of six siblings. Benjamin grew up in a Workman Cooperative Housing Complex in the Bronx, New York which gave him color, texture, and many friendships for the rest of his life. Benjamin is survived by his wife Susanne Diamond, daughter Ellen Resneck, son Robert Diamond, and his grandchildren Joshua and Rachel Resneck. Along with several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 during the hours of 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918.
