Barbara Williams

Barbara Ann Williams, a Registered Nurse for Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and a 41 year resident of the area, died July 6, 2018, at her residence. She was 63 years of age. The daughter of the late Vincent and Irene Januska she was born in Queens, NY in 1954. Barbara was a longtime member of St. Columba R.C. Church, Chester, NY. Her nine grandchildren were her world, she enjoyed traveling with them and watching them grow. She loved her beach in the summer and family ski trips in the winter. Family was the most important to her, and she cherished every moment. There is neither a writer nor poet that could describe how she will be missed, nor how much she was loved by her family. She is survived by her husband Donald Williams and their children Michelle and her husband, Brent Masucci of Briarcliff Manor, NY, Donald and his wife Jennifer Williams of Goshen, NY, Christopher and his wife Kristen Williams of Chester, NY. Her nine grandchildren Andrew, Bradley, Madison & Katelyn Masucci, Kellan, Bryce, Caden, Chloe, and Carter also survive her, along with her brother Vincent and his wife, Maureen. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018, during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 11:00 AM in St. Columba R.C. Church located at 27 High Street, Chester, New York 10918. Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY. As per Barbara's wishes, In memoriam please perform a random act of kindness or two, or plant a tree or two.
