Arlene F. Alberse

Arlene F. Alberse Tuxedo Park, NY Arlene F. Alberse a retired Ticket Agent for New Jersey Transit for 35 years and an 8 year resident of the area, died October 7, 2014 at Ramapo Manor Health Care Facility in Airmont, NY. She was 79 years of age. The daughter of the late Edward and Rose Werner she was born in 1935 in Jersey City, NJ. Mom cared deeply about her family, long time friends and God's animals which gave her much joy. Arlene is survived by her children Gary Alberse of Highland Mills, NY and Diane Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, along with 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Marc Russo of Wurtsboro and Michael Russo or Morris Plains, NJ and her sister Dale Turiak of Newburgh, NY. There will be no public visitation services. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, New York 10950. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery located at 770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430. Memorial contributions in Arlene's memory to ASPCA (www.aspca.org/secure/donate) or to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated by the family. The family has entrusted Thomas F. Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950, to provide the cremation and funeral services arrangements.
