Anthony M. D'Andrea

Anthony Michael D'Andrea ("Bucky"), 84 years of age and a resident of Westtown, New York, passed away on August 8, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center. Anthony was born in The Bronx in April 1933, and was retired from the New York City Fire Department. He was a member of the Uniformed Firefighters Association for the Fire Department of the City of New York, The Knights of Columbus, and The American Legion George Smith Post 1607. Bucky always wore a smile and a song for anyone that he met. Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of sixty-two years, Alba D'Andrea at home; his daughter Diane Buhler and her husband Bob of Florida; son John D'Andrea and his wife Beth of Goshen, New York; daughter Lisa Funicella and her husband Frank of Westtown, New York; his eleven grandchildren: Amanda Gauvin and her husband Rich, Adam Goebler and his partner Meghan, Jessica Buhler, Victoria Musumeci, Louis Funicella, Larissa D'Andrea, Anthony Funicella, Sarah Goebler, and Mikale D'Andrea; one great-grandchild, Leo Gauvin; his sister Rita Maiolo of Goshen, New York; his nephew Anthony James D'Angelo, III, and niece Idie D'Andrea. Visitation will be on Friday, August 18, 2017, during the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church located at 90 Euclid Avenue, Middletown, New York 10940. Interment, with Military Honors, will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at 12:15 PM at Orange County Veteran's Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, New York 10924. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Anthony's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or visit www.stjude.org.
