Anthony Buonadonna

Anthony Buonadonna of Newburgh, NY passed away on August 25, 2018. He was born in June 1918, in New York, New York. Anthony resided in Monroe, New York from 2004 until 2011, when he then moved to Elant, in Newburgh. He served in the United States Coast Guard, and worked as a Dental Technician for many years, until he was 70 years old. Anthony had many interests and hobbies including camping at a young age with his children, gardening, bowling and playing golf. He loved his dogs, his Indian Harley Davidson which he rode to Florida and back when he was younger, and most of all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of UNICO, as well as the Dental Technician Association. Anthony is survived by his daughters Rosanne Walters and her husband Les, and Valerie Nelson and her fiance Norman Zelinsky of Blooming Grove, NY; his sister Joan Giannola of Long Island, NY; his grandchildren Blake Nelson and his wife Dawn, Erik Walters and his wife Nicole, and Heather Walters Davis and her husband Jarred; his great-grandchildren Mason, Jacob, Addison and Brooke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Frank Buonadonna and Angelo Buonadonna; as well as his sisters Rose Grieco, Katherine Zema, and Dolores Nickels. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 during the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. Burial will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:15 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, located at 2 Father Tierney Circle, Washingtonville, NY 10992.
