Ann Conlon Licciardi of Brooklyn and Chester New York passed away on Tuesday June 25th 2013 at the age of 95. She was born in Frostburg, Maryland and moved to Brooklyn, New York shortly after World War II. She also maintained a residence in Chester New York where she joyfully spent all of her summers. Mrs. Licciardi graduated from the South Hampton School of Nursing in 1940 and served as a Lieutenant in the United States Army Medical Corps as a nurse during World War II. She was a decorated recipient of the European Theater ribbon and the World War II Victory Medal. She was stationed in England, France and Germany during her service. She continued to work in the medical field till her recent retirement at the age of 95. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Louis Joseph Licciardi and is survived by her six children and their families; Louis J. Licciardi Jr., Dr. Ludwig Licciardi and his wife Vickie, Marlene Russell and her husband Gary, Timothy Licciardi, Nicolas Licciardi, Donna Maria Pena and her husband Ruben along with being the loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren. The family will continue to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, and to honor her service as an Army Lieutenant in WWII, we suggest a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project. She will be greatly missed by all. Burial will Military Honors will take place at the Chester Community Chester at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 6, 2013
