Albert Fini Sr., of Chester, New York passed away peacefully on June 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 85. The eldest child of Giovanni and Rosa Fini, he was born on November 15, 1934 in Boville, Frosinone, Italy. In 1955, at the age of 21, Albert and his family left their humble village, arriving in the United States after a 12 day voyage across the Atlantic, hoping for a better life. In Queens, New York, he worked in masonry, and discovered that the American Dream can only be realized by setting big goals, seizing opportunities, and working hard. Eventually, Albert started a general contracting business with his three brothers, which grew to become F.A.S.A. Construction Corp. in Middletown, NY. They worked on hospitals, schools, hotels, and numerous homes throughout Orange County, NY. In November 1959, he met the love of his life, Loretta Botticelli. On their first date, he proclaimed that he would marry her, and they wed in 1961. Happily married for 58 years, they rarely left each other's side. They have three children, Natalie Brooks (Jim), Silvia Allen (Thomas), and Albert Fini Jr. (Aimee). Albert has ten grandchildren that were his pride and joy. Lauren, Felicia (Joe), Jonathon, Emily, Olivia, Victoria, Steven, Gabriella, Sofia, and Eva. In addition to his loving wife, children, and grandchildren, he is survived by his siblings: Frank (Santa), Lucia (Giuseppe), Aldo (Ines), Pauline (Paul), Rita (Dominic), Salvatore (Concetta) as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Rosa. Albert loved gardening, cooking, wine-making, and raising various farm animals, often combining them to celebrate any occasion with family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, hunter, and golfer; he also enjoyed traveling with his family. He spent leisure time at his upstate house in Cobleskill, NY. However, Albert's favorite view was watching a beautiful sun rise over the ocean from the balcony of his condo in Palm Beach, FL.
