Paul A. Leeger, a 30 year resident of Chester, New York died at Orange Regional Medical Center on April 13, 2014. He was 79 years of age. The son of the late Julia Leeger, he was born in the Bronx, New York in 1934. Paul was a Bus Mechanic Supervisor who worked for New York Bus Service for a period of 23 years. Paul was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 25. He was an avid car collector and a "master fixer of anything". Paul will be missed by all for his big smile, warm sense of humor and his willingness to always lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved all of the kids in his life, including "his girls" Sam & Dasey. Paul is survived by his good friends Donald and Jennifer Wittekind and their boys Chris, Daniel and Aidan; Robert and Amy Dabreau and their children Emma, Ava and Aiden; Connie Dabreau; Jennifer and Steve Sickler and their children Ben and Gabby; Matt Handler and his girls Sammy, Sarah, Danielle and Alex; Don and Pat Ehlers and many, many more friends. Paul was predeceased by his good friends Robert Dabreau, Sr. and Donald Wittekind, Sr. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918. Burial will follow in Lawrence Cemetery, Lawrence New York on May 10, 2014.
