Kirk Douglas Decker

Kirk Douglas Decker, of Port Jervis, NY entered into rest on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY surrounded by his family.
Kirk was born October 24, 1960, in Cornwall, NY, the son of Jack H. Decker and the late Marion Elwood Decker. Kirk grew up in Rock Tavern, NY and attended Washingtonville, H.S., graduating in 1978. Kirk later attended college at Orange County Community College. Kirk relocated to Syracuse, NY in 1982 and worked as a short order cook for a number of years in Syracuse.
Kirk later moved to Little Falls, NY before moving into an assisted living facility in Port Jervis.
Kirk loved being surrounded by family and was an avid professional football fan and was a lifelong NY Jets fan.
Kirk is survived by his father, Jack H. Decker (partner Lorraine Ueltzen) of Monroe, his two brothers Keith Decker (partner Angie Boisvert), Tom Decker (wife Diaelma), sister Amy Pfleger (Dennis). His four nieces (Bethany, Anna, Kathryn, and Marianna), two nephews (Marcus and Michael). great nephews (Grayson, Rhett and Lincoln) and great niece (Lennon).
The family will be planning a memorial service in the future for family and friends to gather, honor and remember his life.
Cremation care is performed by Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory.
Funeral arrangements are provided by Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
