Warwick, N.Y.Joan Corrine Corcoran, 76, of Warwick, NY passed away on July 11th 2022. She was born on December 20, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY to Santina and Carmine LaGrego. She is survived and missed by her two children Brian Corcoran and Nicole Corcoran-McKenzie and husband Glenn and by her grandson Caleb Corcoran.
Shes also survived by her sister Carol Chichester and her nieces and nephews Gregory, Jamie, Jade, Evelyn and Carlos. She is predeceased by her husband Brian P. Corcoran.Joan moved to Warwick, NY from Staten Island, NY in the late 80s. She was a graduate of Wilfred Academy and worked for many years as a hair stylist.
While living in Warwick, she worked at the corporate office of Benjamin Moore, Inc. as a payroll executive.
Joans most recent and memorable position was as a receptionist at Harmony Salon in Goshen, NY. Its where she greeted all of its clientele with a big smile and a sincere welcome.Joan enjoyed cooking, movies, reading but most of all spending time with her family and friends. Joan dedicated her life to being an amazing mother to Brian and Nicole and a "Nan" to her grandson Caleb.
She was looking forward to welcoming her first great grandchild, "Caleb Jackson", who will be born in September. She will surely become his guardian angel.The family thanks the nurses from Orange & Sullivan Hospice and Flynn Funeral Home for their kindness and care.
A mass and celebration of life will take place in October 29, 2022 at 10:30 in St. Stephen's R.C. Church in Warwick, NY.

Cremation care will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY, under the supervision of Thomas & Brendan Flynn.
