Harry A. Knapp (Chip) Piermont, NY former Sugar Loaf, NY Resident Harry (Chip) A. Knapp a Master Plumber for Local 373 of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union in Mountainville, NY and resident of Piermont, NY and former Sugar Loaf, NY resident died suddenly on August 1, 2013 in Blauvelt, NY. The son of the late Warren Knapp and Dorothy Knapp-Fein he was born on April 27, 1966 in New York. Harry fondly known by many as Chip centered his life around his children. They were the focus of his life and his day began and ended with the joy they gave him. The inner strength they provided him as a human being exceeded his physical strength many folds. Chip gave the Gift of Life as an organ donor in his death. He was very active member of Body Quest Health Club in Blauvelt and an avid body builder. To know Chip was to love him. He is survived by his mother Dorothy Knapp Fein and his stepfather Alfred Fetter of Sugar Loaf, NY, his former wife Denise Knapp and their children Ryan and Nicolette Knapp of Sugar Loaf, NY, his girlfriend Donna Metcalf of Piermont, NY. Along with his brother Anthony Knapp and his wife Rose Marie of Nanuet, NY, step sisters Susan Barba of Madison, NJ, Amy Sue Hasselbaum of Bellingham, MA, Kim Azadian of Trappe, PA. His niece and nephews Andrew Knapp of Nanuet, NY, James and John Boggiovalle of Hillsdale, NJ, Katie and Matthew Maroldi of Bergenfield, NJ also survive Chip. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 during the hours of 6 to 9 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. Columba R.C. Church, 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions to his children's educational fund, Ryan A. Knapp Custodial Fund & Nicolette E.
