Jennie C. Keller a lifelong resident of Chester, NY and a retired retail clerk for the Chester Hardware Store, for over 30 years, died on March 21, 2017 at Schervier Pavilion. She was 80 years of age.
The daughter of the late Stanley and Rita Kozareski Lupinski, she was born on the family farm in Chester, New York, on July 20, 1936.
Mom worked her whole life. She was employed for over 30 years at the former Chester Hardware Store in downtown Chester. She went back to work after retiring and took up house and dog sitting. It would become her happiest time. She was loved by all and was a Mom to dozens of neighborhood kids. The family would like to thank the staff of Schervier Pavilion for the comfort, and the care that they gave her during her final days.
Jennie is survived by her husband William L. Keller, at home and their children; Linda Keller and her husband Rudy of Lanexa, VA, Thomas Keller of Chester, and William Keller and his wife Margaret of Warwick, NY.
Jennie is also survived by her sister Dorothy Richner of Mooers Forks, NY, brothers; Stanley Lupinski and Robert Lupinski, both of Warwick, New York, and her favorite dog Mi-Mi.
She was predeceased by her parents, and one sister, Helen Matthews of Florida, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Anastasia Parish Church located at 21 North Main Street, Harriman, New York 10926.
Memorial contributions in Jennie’s name to the Humane Society of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
