Margaret Mottola Iannone a retired Tax Collector for the Town of Tuxedo, New York and a lifelong resident of the area, died peacefully at the Promenade Assisted Living Center, in Tuxedo, NY. She was 98 of age.
The daughter of the late Carmine & Consiglia Mottola, she was born in the year 1919, in Tuxedo.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, and H.H. Rogers & Cabrini Lodge Sons of Italy.
Margaret was pre-deceased by her husband William Iannone, along with her sister Constance Borrelli, and brothers, Nicolas, Salverio, Anthony and Carmine Mottola.
Survivors include her daughter Margaret Iannone Wilson, William J Iannone, Jr., and his wife Jean, and Peter Iannone and his wife Marilyn Larkin.
She is further survived by her grandchildren; Jaime Wilson-Heath, Lindsay Wilson, Michael & Christopher Iannone, and great-grandchildren, Adalee & Kellan Heath, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 during the hours of 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, located at 5 Tobin Way, Tuxedo, NY 10987 with the Rev. Joseph Emmanuel officiating.
Burial will follow at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, located at 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Tuxedo Fire Department or the Tuxedo Volunteer Ambulance Corps, would be appreciated by the family.
