Biography

John Pfeil of Highland Mills, New York, a 25 year retired employee of General Motors, and a 25 year resident of the area, died January 19, 2012. He was 71 years of age.

 

John was a loving husband, father and friend to many.  He was a lifelong Giants fan and loved the beach and ocean.

 

Survivors include John's wife Maureen, son Eric of Highland Mills, NY, and daughter Jennifer and her husband Matthew Daley of Monroe N.Y., John's sisters-in-law Lorraine Phelan, Bridget and Mary Short, and brothers-in-law William and Brian Short, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

The family would like to thank the Oncology Staff at Orange Regional Medical Center for the care and comfort they provided.  Also to Steve Giove, John's best friend, and to all their relatives, friends, and neighbors who visited, called, and shared their condolences and enlightening words.

 

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM.
