Pamela Buchalski a longtime resident of Chester, New York, and a retired Pharmaceutical Technician at Orange Regional Medical Center at Arden Hill, Goshen, New York, died December 13, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 83 years of age.
The daughter of the late Stanley and Lizzie Woodhull Bishop, she was born August 7, 1928, in Tewkesbury, a town in Gloucester, England.
Pamela's family would like to thank the nurses of Hospice, especially Maria and Joanne – You are angels who comforted Mom to the end.
Pamela was the widow of Stanley Buchalski.
Survivors include her children, Robert Buchalski and his wife Dorothy, Richard Buchalski and his wife Patricia, Jerilyn Farrell and her husband Daniel, and Pamela Kaarlsen. Her sisters, Phyl King and Val Cash of England survive her also. Pamela's ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews are left to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
A Life Celebration will follow at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
A private committal service will follow on Saturday, December 17, 2011.
