I recall what an inspiring mother, wife, and hostess Betty was when she graciously took me into the family during my short stay in DC while on active military service. The gratitude, love, and admiration I felt then never left me. It was the dawning of my awareness on what it means to be a Brennan relation. My heart goes out to you and your family uncle Phil and I’m sorry I couldn’t be there to offer you all any support I might humbly provide. With your matchless and legendary humor, I’m sure you and yours will not only survive this, but come through stronger and closer than ever. We wish you all peace. Love, Mike, Roxanne, Sean, and Jake Brennan
