Biography

Leslie M. Thomson of Warwick a Mechanic/Machinist for Classic Restoration Enterprises, Inc., Pine, Island, NY and a lifelong resident of the area, died February 25, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY.  He was 64 years of age.

 

The son of the late William and Helen Estvanik Thomson he was born on February 14, 1947 in Yonkers, New York. 

 

Leslie was a longtime member of the National Rifle Association.

 

Leslie was a beloved husband, uncle and loyal friend who will be greatly missed.  A straight shooter, he had sense of honor as well as he believed.

Les was a man of many interests.  He was an avid hunter and sportsman and loved adding to his gun collection.  Les worked as a mechanic/machinist and enjoyed rebuilding and restoring classic cars, especially Fords.

 

On nice days he loved going for rides on his Harleys.

 

Les loved being with his friends and would help anyone in need.  He was a great friend and would give the shirt off his back if needed.  He touched the lives of many people.

 

He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Thomson, and niece Tina Thomson of Pomona, New York along with many friends.

 

A Memorial service will be held at Eagle Valley Fire House 14 Scott Mine Road, Tuxedo, New York on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 3:00 PM.
