Biography

Ann Moira Kendrick of Monroe, New York a housewife and a 37 year resident of the area, died February 23, 2010 at Valley Hospital is Ridgewood, New Jersey. She was 84 years of age.

 

The daughter of the late of James and Mary Adam D'Arcy she was born on November 28, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York.

 

Ann was a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Sunset Chapter in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. She was employed by the Littlewood Football Pools in Liverpool, England and later for Kendrick Drilling, Inc., in Chester, New York.

 

Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; she loved her time with her family.

 

She is survived by her husband Albert Kendrick, at home and their son Thomas and his wife Carolyn Kendrick of Monroe, New York. Her sister Jean Chambers and her husband Travis of Monroe, New York and brother's James D'Arcy and John D'Arcy of New Jersey.

 

Her grandchildren Christine Herber and her husband Douglas, Karen Kropp and her husband Chris and Scott Kendrick, along with her great grandchildren Riley and Briggs Herber, and Kyla and Tyler Kropp survive her.

 

Ann is also survived by her nieces and nephews Travis Chambers, Colin Chambers, Heather Chambers, Todd Kendrick and Greg Kendrick.  She was pre-deceased by her niece Lisa Kendrick Macleod.

 

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 during the hours of 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950.  A Service of Remembrance will held at 11:30 AM at the funeral home.

 

Memorial contributions in Ann's name may be made to the Valley Hospital Foundation, Inc., 223 North Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450 would be appreciated by the Kendrick family.

I was reading the paper and I read of Ann's death, I remember her from Bay Ridge, her mother and my mother were friends. We would walk on 5th ave. with our babies in the carriage. My sympathys are with Albert And Jean Pat Weber 41 Golden Hill Ave Goshen NY 10924
