Biography

Benjamin F. Russo 87, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

He was the beloved husband of Vera P. Russo.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Barbara A. Ivanauskas, Benjamin F. Russo, Jr., Frank M. Russo and Katherine C. Tinn, his step-children Gail P. Tummarello, Lois P. Childers, and Bryan E. Powers, along with 4 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and 4 step grandchilren also survive him.

Benjamin was retired from the Newburgh Enlarged City School District as the Director of Facilities.

Funeral Services will be private. Interment of his cremated remains will take place at Orange County Veterans Cemetery 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, New York 10924 at a date to be announced.

Memorial contributions in Ben's name to the St. Joseph Church, New Paltz, New York 12561 or Hospice Foundation, Inc. 374 Violet Avenue, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601 would be appreciated.
