Biography

Philip L. Buck of Highland Mills, NY a retired Vice President of Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City for 28 years and an 18 year resident of Woodbury, New York died on January 2, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, New York.  He was 79 years old.

The son of the late Archibald and Maura Cunningham Buck, he was born on October 14, 1930 in Mount Vernon, NY.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Buck of Highland Mills, NY and his children; Stephen Buck of Yonkers, NY, Philip Buck and his wife Chris of the Bronx, NY and Peggy Lynott and her husband Michael of Montgomery, NY.

Philip is also survived by his two grandchildren, Joseph and Samantha Lynott.  His niece, Kelly Gladden, and nephew, Teddy Walkley also survives him.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2010 and Thursday, January 7, 2010 during the hours of 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY 10950. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery located at 5468 Route 9W North Newburgh, NY 12550 with full Military Honors.
